- Nativity : Applicant should be an Indian Citizen. Candidates claiming community or category reservation should produce documents for Kerala origin along with their Nationality proof.
- Age : Candidate should not be over 45 years of age as on 31.05.2015, subject to relaxation of five years in the case of SC/ST candidates and Service Quota candidates.
- Academic Qualifications : BAM /Ayurvedacharya /BAMS from the colleges having CCIM recognition and BAMS Degree of Universities in Kerala or its equivalent degree recognized by the Universities of Kerala with 50% of marks for theory and practical separately in each subject. But exemption for minimum marks prescribed for admission for MD (Ay) is granted to the students who have passed the BAMS/BAM examination before 1995 from the Universities of Kerala without 50% of marks for theory and practical. Applicants who had completed compulsory internship on or before 31.05.2015 are eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination subject to the production of Internship Certificate from the Medical Council constituted in this regard. Self attested copy of BAM/BAMS pass certificate must be enclosed with the application form.
Selection of candidates except for the seats reserved under Service Quota for Teaching Staff of Government and Government Aided Ayurveda Colleges in the state, Medical Officers of the Department of I.S.M and the candidate sponsored by the Lakshadweep Administration will be made based on the Entrance Examination to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram. The Entrance Examination will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram on 20.09.2015 (Sunday). It will consist of Two Papers each of 2 hours duration and with 150 Objective type (Multiple choices) questions each.
Prospectus and Online Application form will be available from 13.08.2015 onwards in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. The Online Application procedure is common for General and Service candidates. Candidates seeking admission to this course can apply in the online application form provided in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations from 13.08.2015 to 26.08.2015, 3 pm and then remit the required fees at any State Bank of Travancore Branch using the Bank Chalan available with the print out .Candidates residing outside Kerala State can remit the application fee by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Application fee is Rs.1000/- for General/Service candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates. The fee for Entrance Examination once remitted will not be refunded on any account. Application forms will not be sold from the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations or from the Directorate of Ayurveda Medical Education.
The Service quota candidates should remit the application fee [Rs.1000/-] in Treasury, in the head of Account "0210- 02-101-99".
- Candidates seeking admission against General merit seat should forward their completed application print out along with the Bank Chalan/ Demand Draft and the other required documents to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Building, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram - 695001, either by Registered post/Speed post/ hand delivery so as to reach him on or before 26.08.2015 (Wednesday) at 5 pm. Candidates applying against Service quota should submit their application print out with necessary documents/certificates and the chalan receipt to the Director, Directorate of Ayurveda Medical Education, Arogyabhavan, M.G. Road, Thiruvananthapuram, through their controlling officers, so as to reach him on or before 26.08.2015 (Wednesday) at 5 pm. Belated applications will not be accepted. Commissioner for Entrance Examinations or other officers will not be responsible for any postal delay.
- Belated, incomplete, defective and wrongly addressed applications will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be undertaken in this regard. Candidates will not be allowed either to include any information in the application form or to submit any certificates or documents claiming reservation or any benefits, after the submission of the application, under any circumstances.
- SC/ST/SEBC candidates in Kerala should note that they have to furnish Community certificate/income certificates /inter cast certificate in the body of the application form itself. The certificates received after the submission of the application print out will not be considered.
- The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will publish the rank list of candidates based on merit as assessed in the Entrance Examination and forward the same to the Director of Ayurveda Medical Education.
- The selection and allotment of seats including those under Service Quota will be made by the Director of Ayurveda Medical Education, based on various provisions laid down in the Prospectus.
- Candidates should go through the details given in the Prospectus for admission to M.D Ayurveda Courses 2015-16 available in www.cee-kerala.org before filling in the application form.
- Online Application for the Entrance Examination for Admission to PG Ayurveda 2015 :
The application forms are common for all candidates applying for the Entrance Examination. Candidates seeking admission to the courses can apply in the online application form provided in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and then remit the required fee at any of the branches of State Bank of Travancore using the Bank Chalan available with the printout of the online application. The candidates outside Kerala can remit the application fee by way of a Demand Draft for the requisite amount, drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Application fee for General candidates is Rs.1000/- (Rupees Thousand only) and in the case of SC/ST candidates and those eligible for SC/ST benefits as per G.O (MS) No.25/05/SCSTDD dated 22.06.2005 is Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only). The Prospectus can be downloaded from this website. The application forms and the prospectus will not be available from the Ayurveda Colleges or from the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Service candidate seeking admission in General Quota also, should pay extra Rs.1000/-. - Step wise procedure on how to apply using Online Application Form:
- The candidate has to visit www.cee.kerala.gov.in wherein he/she can find the link ‘PG Ayurveda 2015 -Online Application’.
- Candidate Registration: The candidate will be directed to another page where he/she should click the link ‘Candidate Registration’. The candidate should register by giving the necessary details, on completion of which, an Application Number will be generated which the applicant has to note down for further processes.
- Candidate Login: The candidate has to give the Application number and the Password created during registration and on clicking the "Login", he/she will be directed to the homepage of candidate.
- Apply Online: The candidate has to click the link ‘Apply Online’ and upload his/her photograph.
Photograph:- The candidate has to upload his/her latest passport size photo in jpg format between15 kb and 30 kb of size with the dimensions of 150 pixels width and 200 pixels height by clicking on the “browse” button provided. It must be good quality color 'STUDIO' photograph with light color background. The photograph should not be taken with the candidate wearing Cap or Goggles. Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly. POLAROID and COMPUTER / MOBILE PHONE generated photos are not acceptable.
Important point to note is that the photograph pasted in the printout of the application should be the same as the one uploaded. The photograph should be firmly affixed to the printout of the application (in the space provided) by gum and should not be pinned or stapled. Applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are liable to be rejected. - Fill the application form completely on-line.
- If the candidate is fully sure that the data entered are correct in all respects, he/she has to click a ‘Submit’ button placed below a ‘Declaration’ by the candidate. The declaration is meant to state that all details entered by the candidate are true and no corrections will be requested for in future. Some preliminary validations on the data entered will be done during this stage.Once the 'Submit’ button is clicked, the application will be saved and the candidate will be directed to the homepage of candidate wherein facility for printing his/her application, nativity certificate, community certificate, Chalan etc (as applicable) will be provided. The ‘Application number’ of the candidate will also be displayed in the page. The candidate is instructed to note down the application number for further correspondence with this office. The candidate will not be able to edit/modify/correct his application, once the ’Submit’ button is pressed. If any of the details submitted are found incorrect, the candidature of the candidate will be cancelled.
- Take the printouts of the Application Form and other documents by clicking on the links provided. (This is very important).
- In the printout of filled in application form, fix passport size photograph in the space provided and obtain necessary certificates as mentioned in clause 13(c).
- General Quota Candidate has to approach any one of the branches of State bank of Travancore along with the print out of the bank Chalan for remitting the application fee, by cash. The candidate will be given a fee receipt. The ‘fee receipt in original’ has to be sent along with the application to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Application under Clause 3[I(a)], 3[I(b)] should remit the application fee Rs.1000/- to the treasury in the Head of Account 0210-02-101-99 and the original chalan should be sent along with the application to the Director of Ayurveda Medical Education.
- In the application, the candidate has to write the fee receipt no, date of payment, fee amount, Bank branch, put his/her signature where ever necessary and send the same by Registered Post to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Vth Floor, Upper Zone, Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram - 695 001 before the time and date notified by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The application submitted by the candidates should be complete in all respects and the certificates produced after the last date of receipt will not be considered. Late and defective applications will not be considered by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Admit cards will be issued to only those candidates whose copy of application (in full and as required) is received in the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations on or before the last date notified
- The candidate is advised to keep a photocopy of the application (complete with photo and signatures) and keep it with him/her for reference.
- Use ‘Print Application’ link for taking further copies of application if necessary
- Points to be noted:
- Candidates must upload a copy of their passport size photograph same as the one to be pasted in the application printout. (Only after uploading the photograph, the candidate will be able to fill in his/her application form online)
- Candidates must pay the application fee, only in one of the branches of State Bank of Travancore.
- Candidates will not be able to correct/modify/edit his/her application once the "Submit" button is pressed. Only after pressing the "Submit" button the page containing "Print Application" link will be enabled.
- The candidates must take a printout of the application submitted by visiting the "Print Application" link. One copy of the same has to be retained by the candidate and another copy has to be sent to the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations along with relevant documents supporting claims in the application.
- All applications sent to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations are to be printed using "Print Application" link.
- Candidates should not send more than one application form to the CEE.
- Incomplete /late /defective applications will be summarily rejected.
- Application of Service quota candidates: - The service quota candidates should complete all the procedures mentioned in clause 13(b). In the application, the candidate has to write the Chalan No., date of payment, fee amount, Name of Treasury, put his/her signature where ever necessary and route their application to the Director of Ayurveda Medical education ,Arogya Bhavan, thiruvananthapuram on or before the last date and time fixed in the notification.
- Certificates / Documents to be attached to applications
Self Attested photo copies of the following documents to be attached:
- Degree/Pass Certificate of B.A.M.S. / BAM
- Compulsory internship as per clause 4(a)
- Certificate to prove age.
- Document to prove Indian citizen ship .For Keralite claim, Relevant page of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate / Indian Passport / Birth certificate showing the candidate‟s or either of the parent‟s place of birth in kerala . In case certificate of parent is attached, corroborative certificate to establish the relationship between the parent and the candidate should also be attached.
- Certificate of disability from the District Medical Board for claiming PD reservation, as per Clause 4(g).
- Fee receipt of the amount paid in bank, in original.
- Any other certificate / document required along with the application. Original Certificates in the prescribed format to be obtained along with the printout of the application itself:
- Certificates obtained from Revenue officers not below the rank of Tahsildars should be obtained in the application form for verification of community in the case of SC/ST candidates.
- Those who claim relaxation of marks/reservation applicable for SEBC candidates, community certificate to that effect and income certificate has to be obtained from the concerned revenue authorities. SEBC benefit will be subject to income limit prescribed.
- Nativity Certificate as per Clause 4(c), should be obtained in the prescribed format available along with the printout of the application
Note :
* Candidates, who have attached the certificate as mentioned in (iv) above, need not obtain the nativity certificate from the Village Officer/the competent authority.
Additional documents to be enclosed by the service quota candidates.: - Declaration to the effect that he/she has not undergone PG Ayurveda Course under the service quota, previously and countersigned by the Head of the Department should be furnished.
- Details of Service from the Head of the Department in the prescribed format.
Note :
- Documents / Certificates furnished after the submission of the application, will not be entertained under any circumstances. No opportunity will be given to incorporate any details after the submission of the application form.
- If there is any doubt regarding the authenticity of any certificate furnished by the candidates, such certificates will be accepted only if found correct on further verification.
- Admission given will be cancelled if it is found later that false certificates have been produced or that the admission has been secured by fraudulent means

Candidate should possess a valid email id. Keep this email id live and secure till the end of the admission process, PG AYURVEDA 2015. If you do not have an email id, a new email id must be created before applying online. Candidate should not provide the email id of others, under any circumstances. - If the printout of the application is not received in this office within the specified time.
- If the application is found defective or incomplete.
- If the photograph uploaded online and pasted in the application are not proper and/or not duly Attested.
- If the photograph pasted is not identical to the one uploaded online.
- If Declaration is not signed by the candidate.
- If Nativity proof is not enclosed.
- If proof of Date of Birth is not enclosed.
- If the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility conditions.
- If proof of payment of application fee is not attached.
